Devon Duvet Organic 4-7 Tog Summer Weight

Devon Duvets is the first duvet company to be accreditied by the Soil Association to be Organic. Organic Devon Duvets are handmade in Devon using wool from pure breed flocks and have 100% wool filling and a soft 100% natural cotton casing. Devon Duvets are a sustainable product as the sheep is reared solely for its wool and wanders free in the pasture after shearing.The unique natural properties of wool resist dust mites and could help relieve allergies. The duvet will also breathe more, allowing the body to regulate its own temperature. They can be machine washed on a wool setting and line dried, and will retain their light fluffiness. There are two weights of duvet. This product is the Summer Weight which is approximately 300 grammes per square metre (4-7 Tog). Also available is the Spring/Autumn weight duvet, which is approximately 600 grammes per square metre (approx 8-14 tog). Both duvets can be bought separately and fastened together with a discreet system to make a cosy winter weight duvet. Being certified by the Soil Association means that Devon Duvets atelier complies with strict rules set at UK, European and international levels. These rules, known as standards, ensure that you are buying genuinely organic products that can be fully traceable back to source. The standards set by the Soil Association not only meet the UK government's minimum requirements but exceed them - especially in areas concerning the environment and animal welfare.
