The HJ story begins with John Hall or “Honest John” as he was known by his friends, hence the company name: H J Hall, who built the first hosiery factory in 1882. HJ Hall has survived 129 years by focusing on what we do best – socks. HJ Hall is the UK’s largest branded sock manufacturer, comprising more than 100 different designs each in up to 12 colours and 3 sizes.
