Sophos was founded by Barrett Lambourne in Birmingham in 1868 to produce spats, rigid braces, buttons and studs for the gentry.  In 1932, the company moved to the Great Hampton Works in Birmingham where over the next few years the range of products were increased to include cufflinks, collar studs, tie slides, armbands, belts, braces, garters, sock suspenders and leather goods. For those special occasions, from weddings to Summer Balls, the extensive Sophos dresswear range has the right accessory for you.
