The polar and grizzly bears are the largest animal predators on Earth. Weighing more than 500 kilos with a length of almost 3 meters, this bear is double the size of a Siberian tiger. Polar bears have a thick layer of fat in order to be able to defy the extreme Arctic cold. They also have an undercoat and a layer of transparent protective hair. As a result they can swim and hunt in very low temperatures. Polar bears are very good swimmers and have even been seen 300 kilometres from the coast. When searching for food the polar bear has the benefit of a highly sensitive sense of smell. They can perceive a smell that is one and a half kilometres away or buried one metre under the snow! Their hearing and sight are comparable to that of a human. Polar bears are loners, but they have no fixed territory and enjoy playing with each other. The mating season is in May and during gestation the female polar bear almost triples her weight.

Alternatively, if you order after 4pm or over the weekend your order will be dispatched the next working day. Although most customers receive their goods within 3-4 days, please allow up to 7 working days for delivery.
For the delivery of large items or packages over 4kg we will use Delivery Partners, a local, independent delivery company, to deliver these items. Please note that if we do send your order using Delivery Partners you will be asked for a signature at the point of receiving the delivery and this confirms that you are satisfied with the condition of the goods received.
INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY
We are unable to offer any international deliveries at the moment.
We want you to be completely satisfied with your order so we offer a no-hassle return policy.
You are entitled to cancel your order and return the goods within 14 working days for a full refund (excluding shipping costs). Before returning an item to us, please contact us on 01626 333444 or via sales@austins-uk.com. You are responsible for the cost of returning an item back to us.
Your refund will be paid upon receipt of returned goods. This cancellation policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault – for example, if goods are faulty. All returns must be in saleable condition.
